We have started and provided early funding to over 50 financial services companies during our careers in the financing of ships, aircraft, railroad cars and engines, marine cargo containers, satellites, healthcare service companies, medical instrument manufacturers and communications equipment suppliers.

With a major public hospitality company through an affiliate of Oldfield we provide financing to their franchisees for real estate and furniture and fixtures. We are expanding our activities on the boards of offshore funds and families investing in North American real estate. Hisham Sobhy

President/ CEO Oldfield Capital

Mr. Sobhy is a 28-year veteran of Wall Street, holding numerous senior level positions in the investment community. He operated his OSJ in Capital Market and Investment Banking for 10 years, was a First Vice President of Janney Montgomery Scott and Vice President at Josephthal, Lyon & Ross. He has participated in numerous transactions over his career that in aggregate exceed $1 Billion.

His background includes investment analysis, the valuation of corporate, asset-backed and project finance capital structures. He also advises business senior management teams and boards of directors on areas including strategic corporate focus and revenue opportunities such as distribution and marketing agreements for North American and international markets. He is an expert in creating a sound business model and a process of implementation in different industries. His investment banking securities assignments have spanned the spectrum from seed investments, private placement bridge financing, to initial public offerings. In addition to his private and capital markets experience he has been a financial advisor for numerous merger and acquisition transactions for domestic and international companies.

Mr. Sobhy has certificates on executive training from the Harvard School of Business Executive training program. He earned his M.B.A. in Management & Finance from AU Berkeley, California and received his B.S. in engineering from Cairo University.
